يعني هذا لموضوعنا؟ إنّ أسلوب حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة هو القبو النّفسي للإمبراطوريّة العربيّة. ولكي نبرّر هذه الإجابة المجازِفة سنعود إلى مواطني الإمبراطوريّة؛ فكيفيّة تفكيرهم في عمل أدبي معيّن واستجابتهم له ونظرتهم إليه تشكّل ركيزة أساسيّة لا واعية للواقع برمّته أي أنّ عملا أدبيا يتّخذ فكرة، أو ظاهرة معيّنة، أو أسلوبا معيّنا، يمكن أن يعرفنا رؤية جماعة من النّاس، وربّما رؤية المجتمع كلّه في مرحلة تاريخيّة معيّنة. نحصل على مثل هذه المعرفة إذا ما انتبهنا إلى استجابات النّاس للعمل الأدبيّ المميزة لهم، والمعبّرة عنهم[2] . فاستجابات المتلقين حتّى لو كان سلبيا كما هو الحال تاريخيا مع حكايات ألف ليلة ليس بلا قيمة، فهي تعطينا صورة عن أفكار النّاس ومواقفهم. وردت إشارة إلى تلقي حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة في كتاب الإمتاع والمؤانسة لأبي حيان التّوحيدي. يقول: ” ولفرط الحاجة إلى الحديث وُضع فيه الباطل، وخُلط بالمحال، ووُصل بما يُعجب ويُضحك ولا يؤول إلى تحصيل مثل هزار أفستان (ألف ليلة) وكلّ ما دخل في جنسه ضروب الخرافات [3]” . ما هو جوهري في كلام أبي حيان التوحيدي هو لذّة السّرد الّتي تخرج الحديث وتخرج المتحدّث عن رزانته وجزالته وصدقه من أجل أن يعجب حديثه المستمعين. هذه اللّذة أشارت إليها شخصيّة روائيّة حديثة. تقول ” اجتمعنا ذات يوم لفيفا من الأصدقاء، فلمّا شربنا قليلا-والحقّ يقال-اقترح أحدهم أن يقص كلّ واحد منّا، دون أن ينهض عن المائدة، قصّة عن نفسه، على شرط أن يكون في قرارة ضميره مقتنعا بأنّ القصّة الّتي سيرويها هي أسوأ فعل ارتكبه في حياته[4] “. روى كلّ واحد منهم حكاية حتّى أنّ بعضهم وجد في حكايته لذّة. هناك شخصيات روائيّة أخرى في السّرد الحديث ترى أنّ من الممكن أن يجد المرء متعة ولذّة في أن يروي قصص أعماله القذرة، حتّى دون أن يكون أحد قد طلب منه ذلك [5] ، وأنّ من الممكن أن يميل النّاس إلى أن يصدقوا كاذبا ومتبجحا لكنّه مشوّق ومسلٍ أكثر من رجل له قيمته ومزاياه [6]، وأنّ النّاس قد يكذبون ليسروا محدثيهم[7] . في مقابل هذا النّوع من الحديث الّذي وصفه أبو حيان التوحيدي هناك الحديث الّذي يصفه الوزير ابن سعدان؛ فالحديث الشّهي ” بأنّه الحديث الّذي يأتي من خطرات العقل، وقد خُدم بالصّواب في نغمة ناغمة، وحروف متقادمة، ولفظ عذب، ومأخذ سهل، ومعرفة بالوصل والفصل، ووفاء بالنثر والسّجع، وتباعد من التّكلف الجافي، وتقارب في التّلطف الخافي [8]. 2 يمكن تفسير وجود هذين الأسلوبين بالرّجوع إلى الأصول الاجتماعيّة؛ فالأسلوب السّامي الّذي وصفه الوزير يلائم نظاما مطلقا، يعمل فيه المتحدث حسابا لمن هو في قمّة السّلطة أو قريب منها. في مقابل هذا الأسلوب يكون الأسلوب الوضيع[9] الّذي وصفه التوحيدي ملائما للعامّة. هذان الأسلوبان نتجا عن تصور الطبقة العليا والطبقة الدنيا لطبيعة المجتمع؛ فالتّحليل التاريخي لتصوّر الطبقتين يجد منبعه في الشكليات الّتي تراعى في الطبقة العليا دون الطّبقة الدنيا، وفي الطّابع النّمطي الّذي يتحكّم في حديث الطبقة العليا، في مقابل الطّابع المرن في الطّبقة الدنيا. تتصوّر الطبقة العليا المجتمع على صورة مشكلة أخلاقيّة، يعني هذا التّصور أنّ شرور المجتمع وآثامه ورذائله وممارساته غير اللاّئقة يلزم أن تظلّ مستورة ومنسيّة، ومن غير المناسب التّعبير عنها. ما يحدث في المجتمع أشبه ما تكون ببثور ودمامل يلزم أن تظلّ تحت جلد المجتمع. تظهر تجليات الواقع بوصفه مشكلة أخلاقيّة في الأسلوب الّذي وصفه الوزير، والّذي تُحكى به الحكايات في قصور الخاصّة، حيث اللّفظة المهذبة، والنّظيفة، والعفيفة، والتّصوير البريء، والإشارة اللّطيفة المحتشمة، الّتي لا تمسّ مقام الحياء والأدب، والكلام اللّطيف العابر، واللّون الرّفيع من البيان. لا يتعلّق الأمر بلغة الحديث، بل أيضا بالراوي الّذي يجب أن يتّصف بالذّوق الرّفيع والأدب الرّاقي. في المقابل تتصوّر الطبقة الدنيا المجتمع على صورة مشكلة اجتماعيّة. يعني هذا التّصور أنّ الشّرور والآثام والخطايا والرّذائل طبيعية في حياة أي مجتمع. بثور ودمامل تصل إلى مراحلها الّتي تتقيح فيها لتنفجر في شكل الأسلوب اّلذي وصفه أبو حيان التوحيدي. هذا ما فعله الرّاوي في حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة؛ أي أنّه لم يبدِ تحيّزا لقيم الطّبقة العليا الجماليّة والأخلاقيّة. 3 نجد شهادة أخرى على الأثر المباشر لحكايات ألف ليلة وليلة في ردة فعل ابن النّديم الّتي ستؤثّر في مجموع التّفكير اللاّحق في حكايات ألف ليلة. يقول: ” كتاب هزار إفسان يحتوي على ألف ليلة، وعلى دون المائتي سمر؛ لأنّ السّمر ربّما حُدّث به في عدّة ليال. وقدر رأيته بتمامه دفعات، وهو بالحقيقة كتاب غثّ بارد الحديث [10]. تكمن أهميّة هذا الوصف لحكايات ألف ليلة ولية في اعتباره حكما عرضيا يبيّن قيمة كتاب اللّيالي، والأحكام العرضيّة عادة لا تنتمي إلى النّقد الأدبيّ، إنّما تنتمي إلى الذّوق الأدبيّ. والذّوق في طبيعته الجوهريّة ليس ذوقا شخصيا؛ إنّما هو ظاهرة اجتماعيّة، وله وظيفة محدّدة هي وظيفة التّماسك الاجتماعيّ، وله صلات بالفلسفة الأخلاقيّة[11]. فالذّوق يوجّه الأهواء الشخصيّة، ويحكم على الشّيء باسم وضع كلّي، كما أنّه ليس محلّ مجادلة إنّما رفض، ولا يمكن لأحد أن يتعلّم الذّوق من البرهنة. الذّوق يشبه حاسّة من حواس الإنسان كالعين مثلا الّتي تعمل من دون أن تعرف الأسباب، وحين يرفض ابن النّديم كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة، لم يكن قادرا على أن يوضح الأسباب الّتي دعته إلى أن يقول عنه ” غثّ، بارد الحديث”. نعرف الآن أنّ وصف” غثّ، بارد الحديث” وُصف به أكثر من نوع أدبيّ في الثّقافة العربيّة القديمة، والفكرة الأساس لهذا الوصف هي افتقاد القيمة الأدبيّة؛ فالفعل (غثّ) يشير إلى نص غير متماسك لغويا وتراكيبه فقيرة وتقريبيّة، وحين يستخدم ابن النديم (غثّ، وبارد الحديث) في وصف حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة فهو يوظّف معجما سبقه إليه النّقاد واللّغويون في نقد الشّعر. ظلّ وصف ابن النّديم لألف ليلة وليلة غامضا؛ لأنّه لم يقدم تعليلا لوصفه، وغير دقيق لأنّه لم يكلف نفسه تحليل حكايات الكتاب. ليس غريبا أن لا يعلّل ولا يحلّل لكنّه يحكم؛ لأنّ هذه طبيعة أحكام الذّوق. إنّ نقيض ” الذّوق السّليم” ليس ” الذّوق السّيئ” إنّما نقيضه ” اللاّذوق “؛ أي أنّ الذّوق السّليم حساسيّة تتجنّب أي شيء سمج، ويكون ردّ الفعل مبهما مثلما هو ردّ ابن النّديم. حكم ابن النّديم عرضي يبين القيمة، والأحكام العرضيّة لا تنتمي إلى النّقد بل إلى الذّوق. ماذا يعني هذا؟ أنّ ذوق الأشخاص قد ينتج عن تحيّز دينيّ أو سياسيّ أو طبقيّ. وهذا ما حدث لألف ليلة وليلة، حيث ربطت المصادر العربيّة بين حكاياته وبين الخرافة، وقد كان لهذا الرّبط نتائجه إذ قدمت حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة إلى القارئ العربي بصورة غير مرغوب فيها، ونظروا إليها من حيث هي نوع لا تصلح فهمّشوها وقصروها على التسلية في المسامرات الّتي لا تصلح للعقول الرزينة. ثمّة نتيجة أخرى هي أنّهم اعتبروا حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة غير مقنعة؛ فعبارة أخبار موضوعة تعني إسناد ما لا حقيقة له إلى ما لا وجود له، وبرودة الحديث تعني أنّ لغة ألف ليلة وليلة فقيرة وأسلوبها تكراري وتراكيبها تقريبيّة، أمّا النّتيجة الأكثر أثرا فقد كانت من قبل الفقهاء والوعاظ والمذكرين حينما وصفوها بهذيان عقل مشوش وخطاب بذيء ولا أخلاقي. 4 على النّقيض من كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة تصرّفت الثّقافة العربيّة القديمة مع كتاب كليلة ودمنة؛ فقد جعلت منه نصّا مركزيا فالقدماء كانوا يسمّونه قرآن القوم[12] وقد استخدموه سلاحا أدبيا وأيديولوجيا بالغ الخطورة في الصّراع الشّعوبي بين العرب والفرس[13] ، كما أنّ بعض الخاصّة رصدوا المكافآت المالية لمن يحاكيه شعرا، وقد حاكاها بعض الشّعراء كأبان بن عبد الحميد وعلي بن داوود وبشر بن المعتمد[14]، وأنّ كتبا نثريّة عديدة قد حاكته[15] . كتاب كليلة ودمنة محكية كبرى في الثّقافة العربيّة، احترمته أشدّ الاحترام ورفعته إلى مرتبة النّص الّذي يستحق أن يحتفظ به ويخشى عليه من الضّياع. لقد اعتبرت لغتها فصيحة ومنتقاة، يجد فيها القارئ أرفع درجات البلاغة، سهلة وممتنعة لجمالها رفعت النثر العربي إلى أعلى درجات الفنّ. لقد غالى القدماء في تلقي الانشغالات الجماليّة للغة في كتاب كليلة ودمنة؛ لذلك صدموا من لغة حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة، والوصف ” غثّ بارد الحديث ” وهو وصف لغة وليس وصف مضمون. ترتّب على ذلك أنّ الثّقافة العربيّة القديمة لم ترفع حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة إلى مرتبة النّص، ولم تسع الخاصّة (طبقة) إلى الاحتفاظ بها أو أن تخشى عليها من الضّياع، كما أنّها لم تشرح أو تؤول، ولم تدرج في كتب المنتخبات والاختيارات، وحتّى في أيّامنا هذه لم تدرج في المؤسّسات التربويّة، ولم يقم حولها في الغالب دراسات معتبرة في المؤسّسات العلميّة العربيّة. تشير مقارنة كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة بكتاب كليلة ودمنة أنّ قسمة تاريخيّة تشكّلت بين نصوص مركزيّة في الثّقافة العربيّة وأخرى هامشيّة، وأنّ الثّقافة العربيّة تواطأت مع طبقة اجتماعيّة معينة في معاداة حكايات ألف ليلة وليلة، ومّما يثير الأسف أنّ الطرفين (الثّقافة
