ياسر سلطان “إنتصار الموت” هي لوحة شهيرة للفنان الهولندي بيتر بروجيل، رسمها في منتصف القرن السادس عشر، وتُعد واحدة من أكثر أعماله شهرة، وهي من مقتنيات متحف ديل برادو في مدريد. تصور اللوحة مشهداً بانوراميا لحرب شعواء بين البشر وجيش جرار من الهياكل العظمية كرمز للموت. في اللوحة يسيطر الخراب على الأرض تماماً كما يبدو في خلفية المشهد. ألسنة من اللهب والدخان تتصاعد عند خط الأفق، ومراكب في طريقها إلى الغرق وبنايات مُدمرة، بينما يُطارد الموت الناس في كل مكان. في النصف الأسفل من اللوحة رتب بروجيل حشداً متصاعداً من اليسار إلى اليمين، لا أحد من البشر في هذا الحشد لديه القدرة على الفرار، فالجميع تحت رحمة هذا الجيش الزاحف الذي يقود ضحاياه نحو وجهة حتمية. يبحث الجميع عن فرصة للهرب، لكنهم يجدون أنفسهم في النهاية مدفوعين نحو فخ نُصب لهم في يمين اللوحة يتمثل في صندوق كبير يُحشر فيه الناس حشراً. الجزء الداخلي من باب الصندوق مُزين بصليب قرمزي كبير، أما جوانبه فمحاطة بحراس من الهياكل العظمية ممسكة بدروع على هيئة أغطية نعوش. يجمع حشد الضحايا في اللوحة بين كافة الشرائح الاجتماعية: الرجال والنساء، الفتيات والأمهات والحوامل، النبلاء والفلاحون والكهنة والفرسان، بين مقاوم للموت ومُستسلم لجبروته. في الركن الأيمن في أسفل اللوحة ثمة عاشقان يؤديان لحنهما الأخير، تمسك الفتاة بالنوتة الموسيقية، بينما يؤدي الشاب أغنية ما، في حين يشاركهما الموت الحضور في الخلفية عازفاً هو الآخر لحنه الخاص، إنه وداع أخير وحزين يليق بعاشقين. على مسافة قريبة تتبعثر بعض أوراق وأدوات اللعب واللهو في إشارة إلى الهجوم المُباغت لجيش الهياكل العظمية المسلحة بكافة أدوات القتل. في المنتصف نرى قائد الهياكل فوق حصانه الهزيل ذي الهيئة المخيفة يحصد الأرواح بمنجله المعدني الكبير، بينما يبدو المشهد غارقاً في درجات بنية ضاربة للحمرة. العالم كله يتداعى، فقد ذبلت الأشجار وجف العشب وساد الخراب، وانتشرت صور الموت في كل ركن من اللوحة. فوق هذا الحطام نرى هيكلين عظميين يدقان ناقوسين معدنيين في أعلى يسار اللوحة إيذاناً بانتصار الموت ونهاية الحياة. يجمع العمل بين عناصر وتفاصيل استخدمها بروجيل في عدد من أعماله الفنية، غير أن أجواء الخوف التي تنطوي عليها تلك اللوحة تحديداً لم تتكرر في أعمال أخرى. بورتريه للرسام الهولندي بيتر بروغيل (يوتيوب) ولد بيتر بروجيل سنة 1525 وهو ينتمي إلى عائلة فنية عريقة عاشت في هولندا خلال القرنين السادس عشر والسابع عشر. اتسمت أعمال بروجيل بروح إنسانية متدفقة، كما أبدع في خلق موضوعات جديدة غير مألوفة لدى المصورين في تلك الفترة. صور بروجيل المناظر الطبيعية وعالج العديد من الموضوعات الدينية والشعبية والمشاهد الريفية بأسلوبه الذي اتسم باتساع المنظور مع الاهتمام بأدق التفاصيل والثراء بالمفردات والعناصر الكثيرة، والتي كان يمزجها أحياناً بحس ساخر. رسم بروجيل هذه اللوحة في عام 1562 أي قبل ثماني سنوات من رحيله، وهي تمثل صورة مألوفة للصراع بين الموت والحياة، وهي نوعية من الأعمال الفنية عُرفت في تاريخ الفن الغربي خلال العصور الوسطى وما بعدها ويطلق عليها “رقصة الموت” وهو مفهوم مجازي كان له انعكاس كذلك على الأدب والموسيقى في تلك الفترة. ظهر هذا المفهوم في وقت كانت تعاني أوروبا من وباء الطاعون الذي ضرب القارة العجوز بأكملها واستوطن فيها طوال ثلاثة قرون، تخللتها العديد من الحروب المدمرة، كحرب المائة عام بين فرنسا وانجلترا التي استمرت من منتصف القرن الرابع عشر إلى منتصف القرن الخامس عشر. ضرب وباء الطاعون كل أجزاء أوروبا تقريباً، وعلى فترات متقطعة، وتباينت أعداد ضحاياه من مكان لآخر. وكأن التاريخ يعيد نفسه فقد كانت إيطالياً هي أكثر المناطق تضرراً من هذا الوباء في أوروبا كما يقول المؤرخون، إذ يقال أن الطاعون قد أودى بحياة أكثر من نصف سكانها حينئذ. خلال هذه الحقبة ونظراً لقسوتها وامتدادها تعايش الناس مع فكرة الموت على نحو لافت، وكانت النظرة الشائعة- دينياً وشعبياً- هي التعامل مع وباء الطاعون كعقاب من الله، ومن هنا ظهرت هذه الرسوم المعروفة بـ “رقصة الموت” والتي صورت الموت في هيئة هيكل عظمي أو كائن مخيف يطارد الناس في الطرقات لينهي حياتهم، اتخذت هذه الرسوم منظوراً دينياً باعتبار الموت قدر حتمي يطال الناس كافة من عامة الشعب أو من طبقة النبلاء. كانت هذه الرسوم تتخذ منحى وعظياً في الغالب، كتذكير للناس بفكرة الموت، لذا فقد زينت الكثير من أروقة الأديرة والمقابر، كما كان لها انعكاسات لاحقة على العديد من الأعمال الفنية، ويتجسد المفهوم نفسه اليوم مثلاً فيما يُعرف بعيد القديسين (الهالوين) والذي يستند في الأساس إلى التذكير بالموت وتجسيدة على هيئة مخيفة من الأقنعة وغيرها من الأشكال الأخرى. اللافت هنا أن محنة الطاعون على قسوتها تلك قد واكبت عصر النهضة الأوربي، والذي شهد طفرة في الفنون والإنشاءات والاكتشافات، ووضع أوروبا على عتبات العصر الحديث. وخلافاً لما يفترضه بروجيل في
