الجمع بين فقر الواقع ومحدوديته وثراء الخيال ورحابته. واللافت أن هذا الواقع الفقير المأزوم دائماً، مروي بضمير الغائب. بينما يتم تصوير الخيال– أو الإشراقات بتعبير الكاتبة– بثرائه ورحابته من خلال ضمير المتكلم؛ مما يدل على أن “مراد”– بطل الرواية– يلجأ إلى الخيال وما يقترب من الواقعية السحرية هروباً من واقعه الذي آثر أن ينعزل عنه… “أنفر من الناس ولطالما تمنيت العيش في عالم خال منهم لكن غيابهم التام عن جغرافيا إشراقتي هذه قبض قلبي وأورثني الغم والكآبة”. إن “مراد” لا يستريح للآخرين إلا في إشراقاته التي يستدعيهم بها. أما في الواقع فإنه ينفر منهم. وتظل هذه الثنائية فاعلة على مدار الرواية. ولا شك أننا لاحظنا استخدام ضمير المتكلم في هذا الشاهد على العكس من ضمير الغائب الذي يصور واقعه الحقيقي… “يعرف أنه لن يعود إلى مكتبه مرة أخرى لأخذ كرتونة أوراقه، ذكره هذا ببيتي شعر لشاعر قديم تاه اسمه عن باله واحتفظت ذاكرته فقط بعبارة وحيدة من البيتين: ترَّاكُ أمكنة إذا لم أرضها. ضايقه زحف النسيان على ذهنه. لطالما أحبَّ هذا الشاعر ورأى في البيتين خير تعبير عن شخصيته”. بين الواقع والخيال وإذا كان هذا الشاعر سبق يعني أننا أمام رواية تبدأ بالأزمة التي تستمر حتى نهايتها مبتعدة عن نمط السرد التقليدي الذي يبدأ بالتعرف على الشخصيات والأحداث ثم يستعرض أزمة البطل منتهياً بالحل أو النهاية المفتوحة. الرواية– هنا– تأتي ببطل مأزوم منذ البداية ولا يجد حلاً إلا بالحلم والإشراقات التي تتوالى عليه. الرواية بين الواقعية والغرائبية (دار الشروق) هكذا تنتهي الرواية حين يرى “مراد” حبيبته “وردة”؛ “خارجة من بين الأشجار وفي يدها سلة ليمون أصفر مبلل بقطرات ندى… يبتسم لمرآها وتتعلق عيناه بفتحة ثوبها حيث يبين مفرق نهديها. يتذكر اسمها: وردة. ثم يخبو كل شيء وتحلق روحه بعيداً مصحوبة بغمامة من شذا الليمون”. فهو يعيش على مجرد التذكر وتحليق الروح مع من تحب ولا يستطيع التواصل معه في الواقع. ولأنه يعيش على التذكر فإن ضعف الذاكرة– الذي أحس به ذات مرة– يمثل مأساة بالنسبة له مثله مثل إحساسه الدائم بمطاردة الآخرين له. ويصبح الجلوس في مكان عام أشبه بالورطة حيث يتوجس– دائماً– “من أن يكون هناك بين رواد الحديقة القلائل من يتابعه ويعد عليه أنفاسه، لشد ما يكره المتطفلين وعيونهم الفضولية”. ترميز الموجودات وكما يلجأ إلى الحلم القطرات المتجمدة أكثر شفافية من الأخريات. دققتُ في واحدة منها فاستحالت مرآة صقيلة عكست رأس نمر بدلاً من وجهي”. فالتحول لا يصيب الأشياء فحسب بل يصيب الذات أيضاً أو هكذا تتخيل حين تدرك أنها في واحدة من
