اكتشاف آثاري مثير لمخلفات تنتمي إلى المملكة الميتانية من العصر البرونزي

ظهر قصر قديم عمره 3400 سنة على شواطئ دجلة بعدما تسبب الجفاف في انخفاض منسوب الماء في أحد الخزانات الأساسية انخفاضاً كبيراً.
ويعود تاريخ هذا الموقع، في منطقة كردستان، شمالي العراق، وهو من العصر البرونزي، إلى الفترة التي كانت المملكة الميتانية تسيطر على مساحات شاسعة في الشرق الأوسط. ولم يشهد الموقع أعمال تنقيب قبل هذه المرة.
قال باحثون إن الجداريات المكتشفة حديثا والمرسومة على جدران القصر القديم، تعدّ “حدثا آثاريا مثيرا”، إضافة إلى أن الموقع نفسه هو من أهم الاكتشافات خلال العقود الأخيرة، حسب رأيهم.
وكان فريق ألماني- كردي، قد شُكّل للتقيب في الموقع، بعدما ظهر القصر القديم جراء تضافر عناصر عدة لتتيح له فرصة البروز الى العيان وفي طليعتها تفريغ خزان في سد الموصل من المياه التي استُعملت للتخفيف من وطأة الجفاف وانحباس المطر جنوباً.
وأفاد العلماء المساهمون في أعمال التنقيب بأن المبنى الضخم الذي بقي منه جزء بارتفاع 7 امتار وجدران بسماكة 2 متر، في بعض الأماكن، كان يشكل في الأصل هيكلا مهيبا يطل على وادي دجلة من قمة شرفة شاهقة. ويُعتقد أن الميتانيين بنوا جدارا ضخما من الطوب الطيني لتدعيم جبهة القصر الغربية الواقعة على أرض منحدرة.
قالت الدكتورة إيفانا بُلِجيز من جامعة توبنغن، إن القصر ظل مستخدما لفترة طويلة، خلال مرحلتين من الإقامة فيه، يمكن تمييزهما بوضوح.
وأظهرت أعمال التنقيب، سلسلة من الحجرات، استُشكف 8 منها جزئياً حتى الآن، كما عُثر على ألواح طينية مغطاة بكتابات مسمارية، داخل القصر، مما يشير إلى أنها قد تكون جزءا من مدينة زاخيكو، حسبما ذكر علماء الآثار، وهم لايستبعدون وجود صلة بين مدينة أكبر إلى الشمال وبين هذه الألواح الطينية.
وأضافت الدكتورة بلجيز ” وجدنا بقايا رسوم جدارية ذات مسحة براقة من الأحمر والأزرق. وزادت “في الألفية الثانية ما قبل الميلاد، قد تكون الجداريات، علامة فارقة نموذجية للقصور في الشرق الأدنى القديم، لكننا من النادر أن نجدها سليمة لم يطاولها الخراب… لذلك فإن العثور على الجداريات في موقع كمون هذا يشكل حدثا آثاريا مثيرا”.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن القصر ظهر بشكل جزئي أول الأمر عند انخفاض الماء عام 2010، حسبما قال الدكتور حسن أحمد قاسم من “إدارة آثار دهوك”، لكن أعمال التنقيب فيه لم تكن ممكنة آنذاك.
من جانبها، لفتت الدكتورة بلجيز إلى أن “الإمبراطورية الميتانية هي إحدى إمبراطوريات الشرق الأدنى الأقل حظاً من البحوث”. وأضافت “المعلومات عن القصور في المرحلة الميتانية، متوافرة حتى الآن فقط من تل براك في سوريا، ومن مدينتي نوزي والألَخ، الواقعتين على أطراف الإمبراطورية.. بل حتى عاصمة الإمبراطورية الميتانية لم تُحدد حتى الآن بشكل قطعي”.
وكانت الدولة الميتانية تمتد ، في أوج عزها، من ساحل البحر الأبيض المتوسط الشرقي عبر أجزاء مما هي الآن سوريا والعراق وتركيا. وكانت موجودة خلال القرنين الخامس عشر والسادس عشر ما قبل الميلاد.
