في سلسلة كلاسيكيّات الأدب الفرنسيّ التي تصدر عن مشروع “كلمة” للترجمة في دائرة الثقافة والسياحة- أبوظبي، صدرت ترجمة كتاب “ما وراء الرومنطيقيّة – كتابات في الفنّ” للشاعر الفرنسيّ شارل بودلير، ترجمها عن الفرنسية الشّاعر والأكاديميّ العراقيّ المقيم في باريس كاظم جهاد والجامعيّة والروائيّة التونسيّة أمّ الزين بنشيخة المسكيني، وراجع الترجمة ونقّحها وقدّم لها كاظم جهاد.
بدأ الشاعر الفرنسيّ شارل بودلير Charles Baudelaire (1821-1867) الكتابة عن الفنّ التشكيليّ في الصحافة الثقافيّة من أجل العيش، ثمّ سرعان ما تحوّل نقد الفنون التشكيليّة لديه إلى شغف ومراس فكريّ متواصل ترك فيه نصوصاً مهمّة تقدّم هذه المنتخبات أفضلها وأبقاها أثراً.
مارس بودلير في هذا المضمار مختلف الأنماط، من متابعة التظاهرة الفرنسيّة المعروفة المتمثّلة في المعارض الجماعية السنويّة إلى المعرض الدوليّ الذي أقيم في باريس سنة 1855، فالمعارض الفرديّة، والنّصوص الطويلة المخصّص كلّ منها لتحليل مسيرة رسّام كبير. ومن نصوص الفئة الأخيرة لمعت في تاريخ النقد الفنيّ دراستان، الأولى كتبها بودلير في 1863 وتضمّ ثلاثة عشر فصلاً صغيراً يحللّ فيها عمل الرسّام الفرنسيّ كونستانتان غي، والثانية تعرض فهم الشّاعر لمسيرة أوجين دولاكروا وفكره وأبرز أعماله، وقد كتبها في 1863 أيضاً، بُعيد وفاة الفنّان بأسابيع.
ظفر دولاكروا بإعجاب بودلير المتحمّس لتغليبه عمل المخيّلة في الرسم وخروجه على قواعد الفنّ الأكاديميّ. أمّا دراسته عن كونستانتان غي فقد نشرها أوّلاً على حلقات، قبل أن يجمع فصولها الصغيرة في كتاب منحه عنوان “رسّام الحياة الحديثة”. وكما ينبئ به العنوان، فمن وراء الفنّان ومن خلاله يتوقّف بودلير عند أهمّ معالم الحداثة كما تجلّت في زمنه. ولقد بقي هذا الكتاب يشكّل إلى اليوم أحد أهمّ الوثائق الفكرية للحداثة بصفتها مراساً كليّاً يشمل معيش الإنسان اليوميّ وفنونه وآلاته وعلاقته بجسده ومحيطه. فلاسفة كثر، من فالتر بنيامين إلى هنري لوفيفر وآخرين، نهلوا من هذه الدراسة ولا يزالون ينهلون حدوساً ومعاينات كبرى قبض عليها الشاعر-الناقد بعينه الفاحصة وبيانه الرفيع.
إلى هذين النصّين الأساسيّين، يضمّ هذا الكتاب نصوصاً أخرى لها أهميّتها في المجالات المذكورة. من بين المتابعات الطويلة الأربع التي كرّسها بودلير لمعارض جماعيّة، اختير النصّان الموسّعان اللّذان يجمع النقّاد على كونهما أهمّ ما كتب الشاعر في هذا المضمار. الأوّل خصّ به المعرض الدوليّ الذي أقيم في باريس في 1855 وجمع جناحه للفنون التشكيليّة كوكبة من كبار الفنّانين الفرنسيّين وغير الفرنسيّين. والثاني مخصّص للمعرض الجماعيّ للعام 1859. بأناة وشجاعة وتعاطف كبير أو سخرية حادّة حسبَ ما يقتضيه المقام، يتوقّف بودلير عند أكثر الأعمال والاتّجاهات شيوعاً يومذاك، ولا يحرم نفسه وقارئه من الإبانة عن تهافتِ ما يبدو له منها متكلّفاً أو متحذلقاً.
وأخيراً يضيف الكتاب ثلاث مقالات وجيزة تشير كلّ منها إلى جانب مهمّ من اهتمامات بودلير. في مقالة عنوانها “الفنّ الفلسفيّ” يعارض تعليم الفنّ السّائد في زمنه واستغلال الفنّ لإيصال تعاليم فكريّة أو أخلاقيّة. وفي النصّ الثاني يواكب عودة فنّ الحفْر بالحَمض بعد احتجابه النسبيّ لصالح شقيقه فنّ الحفر بالمحْفر أو الإزميل بين بدايات القرن التاسع عشر ومنتصفه. أمّا النصّ الثالث فهو رسالة إلى صديقه الرسّام إدوار مانيه، أحد روّاد الرّسم الانطباعيّ. وعلى وجازتها تكشف الرّسالة عن ملمح مهمّ في شخصيّة الشاعر وسلوكه. فهو يأخذ بيد الصديق المأزوم، الذي ألفى نفسه في مواجهة نقّاد متعسّفين وجمهور جاحد، وكذلك في مواجهة شكوكه هو نفسه وثبوط عزيمته.
ينبغي التنويه أيضاً بهذه الحقيقة أو المعاينة الأساسيّة: فلئن كان بودلير يتعفّف على الدوام من أن يخوض تجربة النقد التشكيليّ بأدوات الشاعر ولغته وحدها، فإنّ النقّاد أشاروا عن حقّ إلى كون بودلير الشاعر وبودلير ناقد الفنّ يلتقيان في مواضع أو مستويات عديدة. فبينَ الفنّ والشعر، ومهما اختلفت التعابير والأدوات، كان بودلير يرى جملة وشائج عميقة. فكلاهما ابن للعصر، وكلاهما ثمرة إنصات عميق لنبض الحياة، لا على شاكلة الرسّام الواقعيّ أو شاعر الإنشاد السّهل، بل من خلال العمل على التقاطِ أخفى التجليّات والقبض على المتغيّرات الضئيلة التي لا تكاد تُلمح والتي يخطئ الكثيرون تقييمها مع أنّه فيها يكمن ما هو أكثر جوهريّة.
ولد شارل بودلير في باريس عامَ 1821. توفّي والده وهو في سنّ السادسة، وما إن أدرك سنّ الرّشد حتّى بدّد كلّ ثروته الموروثة عنه. أمضى سبعة أشهر في جزيرة موريشيوس، ثمّ انصرف إلى القراءة وبدأ بعد فترة بنشر قصائده ومقالاته في الفنّ وترجماته لقصص الشاعر والكاتب الأمريكيّ إدغار بو. ولدى صدور مجموعته الشعريّة “أزهار الشرّ” في 1857 حوكم هو وناشره بتهمة الإساءة إلى الأخلاق العامّة وحُكِمَ عليهما بدفع غرامة ماليّة وحجْب ستّ قصائد من المجموعة. بيد أنّه نال تدريجيّاً الاعتراف بإسهامه الحاسم في ولادة الشّعر الفرنسيّ الحديث والخروج به من الرومنطيقيّة. دفعه جزعه من الحياة الثقافية في فرنسا إلى إمضاء سنيّه الثلاث الأخيرة في بلجيكا، عاد منها إلى باريس في 1867 حيث توفّي عن مرضٍ في سنّ السادسة والأربعين. وبُعيد وفاته جُمعت مقالاته في الفنّ ونُشرت مجموعته الشعريّة “سويداء باريس” التي ساهمت مساهمة كبيرة في ولادة قصيدة النّثر.
