قِلَة هم من يعرفون اسم مؤلف النشيد الوطني المصري، نشيد “بلادي بلادي” الذي يُعرف طوال الوقت بأنه نشيد الموسيقار سيد درويش والذي كتبه المؤلف المصري محمد يونس القاضي، الذي كان شريكاً للنجاح مع درويش، حيث قدما معاً أشهر أغنيات درويش وأعظم أعمال هذه الفترة الغنية بالأحداث التاريخية الهامة قبل 100 عام والتي لا تزال خالدة ومعروفة حتى الآن.
محمد يونس القاضي ولد عام 1888م وتوفي أواخر ستينيات القرن العشرين، وقدم عشرات الأعمال المسرحية والغنائية الوطنية والعاطفية ارتبط بالزعيم مصطفى كامل واستوحى نشيد “بلادي بلادي” من إحدى خُطب الزعيم مصطفى كامل الشهيرة التي جاء فيها: “بلادي بلادي لكِ حبي وفؤادي لكِ لُبي وجناني، فأنت أنتِ الحياة ولا حياة إلا بكِ يا مصر”.
وترجم القاضي الكلمات الوطنية التي تشبع بها في خطابات كامل الوطنية وقدمها في أعماله الفنية، وكان يترجم أيضا محتويات خطبه بالإنجليزية والفرنسية إلى اللغة العامية لأبناء قريته.
وتعرض القاضي للاعتقال كثيراً من قِبل الإنجليز بسبب أغنياته ومسرحياته الوطنية.
سعد زغلول
وشكّل القاضي وسيد درويش ثنائياً فنياً رائعاً والتقت وطنيتهما وأثمرت باقة من الأغاني المهمة الخالدة من أشهرها “أهو ده اللي صار” و”زوروني كل سنة مرة” و”يا بلح زغلول” و”يا عزيز عيني”، وأيضا أعمال عاطفية مثل “انا هويته وانتهيت” و”خفيف الروح بيتعاجب”.
أغنية “يا عزيز عيني” لها قصة، فبعد إجبار الإنجليز لبناء الشعب المصري على الخدمة العسكرية الإنجليزية في بداية القرن العشرين وإبان الحرب العالمية الأولى تزامنت أثناء الفترة مع مواجهة (عزيز بـك المصري) للإنجليز والتي أدت به لمشكلات مع السلطات واشتهرت جمل شعبية رددها الشعب عن عزيز المصري مثل (يا عزيز يا عزيز كُبة تاخد الإنجليز)، في هذه الظروف خرجت أغنية “يا عزيز عيني أنا بدي أروح بلدي تعالى اكشف على ولدي”.

بعد نفي الزعيم سعد زغلول في جزيرة مالطا عام 1919، منعت سلطات الاحتلال الإنجليزي ذكر اسم سعد زغلول تماماً، فتحايل محمد يونس القاضي على هذا القرار بكتابة أغنيات ومسرحيات تناولت اسم زغلول بشكل مستتر وغير مباشر في الإشارة للزعيم المصري لتذكير الشعب بالقضية المصرية وكان أشهرها “يا بلح زغلول”.
واعتُمد نشيد بلادي بلادي نشيداً قومياً لمصر بعد حرب أكتوبر وتحديداً عام 1979، وكان يسبقه كنشيد وطني للبلاد “والله زمان يا سلاحي”.
