CANADAكندا عربي نيوبرنزويك: 100 حالة وفاة بمرض كوفيد-19 والحكومة توسّع نطاق تدابير الوقاية by admin 22 أكتوبر، 2021 written by admin 22 أكتوبر، 2021 16 راديو كندا الدولي \ RCI ارتفع عدد حالات الوفاة بمرض كوفيد-19 في نيوبرنزويك (نافذة جديدة) التي تعاني الموجة الرابعة من الفيروس. وأفاد رئيس الحكومة بلين هيغز عن 101 حالة وفاة ، والأمر أبعد من مجرّد إحصاءات كما قال، والمرض يصيب أشخاصا من كلّ فئات الأعمار، و يحصد الضحايا من الشباب والمسنّين. ويوم الأربعاء، كان عدد الوفيات الأعلى في نيوبرنزويك من بين المقاطعات الأطلسيّة الأربع الواقعة في الشرق الكندي حسب رئيس الحكومة الذي تحدّث عن مرحلة رهيبة في المقاطعة. وقال بلين هيغز إنّه يتفهّم غضب أبناء المقاطعة إزاء القرار الذي اتّخذه في تمّوز يوليو الماضي لِتخفيف تدابير الوقاية من فيروس كورونا المستجدّ (نافذة جديدة)، بعد ارتفاع معدّل التطعيم. وتزامن قراره مع التحذير الذي أصدرته د. تيريزا تام، مديرة وكالة الصحّة العامّة الكنديّة، من موجة رابعة قد تتسبّب بها متحوّرات الفيروس. د. جنيفر راسل رئيسة الخدمات الطبيّة في نيو برنزويكالصورة: RADIO-CANADA بصفتي رئيس حكومة المقاطعة، أتحمّل المسؤوليّة عن كلّ ما حدث، في كلّ مكان لِأبناء نيوبرنزويك قال رئيس الحكومة بلين هيغز ردّا على سؤال حول ما إذا كان قد اعتذر من أبناء المقاطعة. من الواضح أنّني شديد الأسف للوضع الذي نحن فيه الآن، ولكنّي أعرف كم عمل الناس جاهدين هنا لاتّخاذ القرارات بالاستناد إلى المعلومات التي كانت متوفّرة في ذاك الوقت قال بلين هيغز. وأضاف أنّ متحوّرات الفيروس طرحت تحدّيات كبيرة ، وتراجع في الوقت عينه معدّل التطعيم. وكانت الحكومة قد أعلنت في أوائل تشرين الأوّل أكتوبر، عن إجراءات وقاية إضافيّة أكثر صرامة في عدد من المناطق الصحيّة في المقاطعة. وقالت د. جنيفر راسل رئيسة الخدمات الطبيّة، إنّ الإجراءات تهدف لحماية نظام الرعاية الصحيّة والوقاية من أن يصبح الفيروس أكثر ترسّخا. وتمّ اتّخاذ تدابير لِكسر انتشار العدوى، في عدد من المناطق الصحيّة، على أن يستمرّ تطبيقها طوال أسبوعين. وقرّرت الحكومة تمديدَها أسبوعا إضافيّا، بانتظار أن تعلن السلطات الصحيّة استقرار الوضع الصحّي. وأشارت د. جنيفر راسل إلى أنّ البيانات مشجّعة منذ أن تمّ اتّخاذ إجراءات كسر انتقال العدوى، ولكنّه من المبكّر معرفة ما إذا كان عدد حالات كوفيد-19 سَيستمرّ في التراجع في المناطق المعنيّة. ولن يتمّ إلغاء إجراءات كسر العدوى قبل التأكّد من تراجع عدد حالات الإصابة والاستشفاء كما قالت رئيسة الخدمات الطبيّة في نيو برنزويك د. جنيفر راسل. وشدّدت الحكومة الإجراءات في المناطق الصحيّة التي ارتفع فيها عدد الحالات، وحظرت الانتقال من و إلى المناطق كاسرة انتقال العدوى. واستثنت من الإجراء التنقّل من أجل العمل والخدمات الصحيّة ورعاية الأطفال وحضانة الأطفال ومتابعة التعليم الثانويّ.
