وأفاد موقع “الوطن” بأن الهيئة التي يرأسها الفريق عبد المنعم التراس تمكنت من استقدام أول آلة في الشرق الأوسط والثامنة على مستوى العالم، والتي تعمل بنظام التحكم الرقمي بالكامل لتصنيع عربات السكك الحديدية ومترو الأنفاق بأحدث تكنولوجيا عالمية على أرض مصر، وذلك بالتعاون مع شركة “دي إم جي موري” الألمانية العالمية”.
وتعمل الماكينة على تصنيع الأجزاء كبيرة الحجم بأعلى درجات الدقة والسرعة في الإنتاج، وتُعتبر الماكينة طفرة تكنولوجية.
والماكينة النادرة تصنع جميع مهمات السكك الحديدية، المتمثلة في صناعة عجل عربات السكك الحديد، والبوجيهات، وكامل محركات القطارات، وجميع آلات الجر، وأيضاً تصنيع السيارات، وأجزاء من الطائرات.
ووصلت الآلة إلى ميناء الإسكندرية، وسيتم نقلها بواسطة 22 ناقلة ثقيلة حيث يبلغ وزنها 150 طنا.
وسيتم تركيبها بالتعاون مع خبراء ألمان على مدى 72 يوما.
