برر رئيس الاستخبارات الخارجية الروسية سيرغي ناريشكين، حرب بلاده في أوكرانيا برغبة الأخيرة في امتلاك الأسلحة النووية، وسارعت كييف للرد قائلا إن الأمر “هلوسة روسية جديدة”.
وقال ناريشكين إن قوات بلاده اندفعت إلى أوكرانيا، بعدما أعربت كييف عن رغبتها في امتلاك أسلحة نووية.
وكرر أن هدف موسكو يتمثل في “نزع سلاح الدولة الأوكرانية واجتثاث النازية منها”، بحسب نص طويل حول التاريخ الحديث للعلاقات الروسية الغربية، أوردت وكالات الأنباء جزءا منه.

ولم يمض وقت طويل حتى ردت أوكرانيا على لسان وزير خارجيتها دميترو كوليبا، نافية أي طموحات في هذا الإطار.
وقال كوليبا إن ما تحدث به رئيس المخابرات الخارجية الروسية مجرد “هلوسة روسية أخرى” من طرف سيرغي ناريشكين.
وأضاف أن ناريشكين يدعي أن أوكرانيا “تعمل على صنع أسلحة نووية بمعرفة الولايات المتحدة التي تبدي رغبة في المساعدة”.
وتابع: “مرة أخرى دحض هذا التزوير المريض. لقد كانت أوكرانيا ولا تزال عضوا مسؤولا في معاهدة حظر الانتشار النووي”.
ولم تعلن أوكرانيا أبدا عن طموحات نووية، لكن رئيسها فولوديمير زيلينسكي اعتبر أن اتفاقية 1994 (مذكرة بودابست للضمانات الأمنية) ولى عليها الزمن لأنها تنص على احترام روسيا لوحدة الأراضي الأوكرانية في مقابل تخلي كييف عن ترسانتها النووية السوفيتية.
وكان زيلينسكي لمّح إلى احتمال العودة إلى السلاح النووي، الذي تخلت عنه بلاده في الماضي.
وتأتي هذه التطورات مع اتساع دائرة الحرب لتصل إلى محطة زابوريجيا النووية في وسط أوكرانيا، مما أثار قلقا عالميا.
وقالت كييف إن القوات الروسية قصفت المحطة مما أدى إلى تددمير مبنى للتدريب، مؤكدة أن النيران اندلعت خارج محيط المحطة.
ويبدو أن تركيز رئيس المخابرات على مسألة الطموحات النووية يتناقض جزئيا مع تصريحات روسية في بداية الحرب، اعتبرت أن الأمر مجرد عملية عسكرية لحماية الروس الذين يسكنون إقليم دونباس، ومنع حلف شمال الأطلسي من ضم أوكرانيا إليه، باعتبارهما أهدافا رئيسيا للعملية.
