عقد رئيس الحكومة الكنديّة جوستان ترودو مؤتمره الصحفي اليومي من أمام مقرّه في ريدو هول في أوتاوا. وما زال رئيس الحكومة في العزل المنزلي، ولكنّ زوجته صوفي غريغوار تعافت من إصابتها بالفيروس.ورئيس الحكومة غير مصاب، ولكنّه دخل في العزل المنزلي الوقائي بناء على نصيحة الأطبّاء.
وأوضح ترودو أنّ الجمعيّات الخيريّة والشركات التي تراجعت عائداتها بسبب الكوفيد-19 سوف تستفيد من خطّة إعانات الأجور التي تغطي بنسبة 75 بالمئة رواتب موظّفيها، والتي أعلنتها الحكومة الأسبوع الماضي.
وأضاف بأنّه سيكشف عن المزيد من التفاصيل في وقت لاحق اليوم، وأنّ خطّة المساعدة تسير على أساس الثقة وحسن النيّة، وحذّر من يحاول استغلالها بأنّه سيواجه عواقب وخيمة.

وكانت د. تيريزا تام مديرة وكالة الصحّة العامّة الكنديّة قد دعت الكنديّين نهاية الأسبوع الفائت إلى “أن يبقوا أقوياء” وألّا يتساهلوا في إجراءات التباعد الاجتماعي و غسل اليدين ، وأكّدت أنّ الأسبوع الحالي سيكون حسّاسا في التصدّي لكوفيد-19.
أيضا في جولتنا على الأخبار الكنديّة اليوم الإثنين وآخر التطوّرات المتعلّقة بفيروس كورونا المستجدّ، أشارت السلطات الصحيّة في نيوفاوند لاتد ولابرادور أنّ رَجلا في الـثامنة والسبعين من العمر توفّي بسبب الكوفيد-19 بعد ثلاثة أيّام على دخوله المستشفى.
وبلغ عدد الإصابات في نيوفاوندلاند ولابرادور 148 حالة حتّى كتابة هذه السطور، وهو العدد الأكثر ارتفاعا من بين مقاطعات الشرق الكندي الأربع، وهي بالإضافة إلى نيوفاوندلاند ولابرادور، نيوبرنزويك و نوفا سكوشا وجزيرة برنس إدوارد.

وأعلنت وكالة الصحّة العامّة الكنديّة عن إصابة سجينين اثنين بالكوفيد-19 في سجن بور كارتييه في مقاطعة كيبيك، وهما أوّل حالتين في سجن تابع لمصلحة السجون الكنديّة.
وأظهرت نتائج فحص الكشف عن الكوفيد-19 وجود تسع نتائج إيجابيّة لدى موظّفين يعملون في السجن المذكور. وتمّ وضع السجينين في الحجر الصحّي وإغلاق السجن، ودخل الموظّفون التسعة في العزل المنزلي.
واتّخذت مصلحة السجون الكنديّة إجراءات التصدّي للفيروس في كافّة مراكزها عبر أنحاء كندا، فضلا عن إجراءات إضافيّة في سجن بور كارتييه الكيبيكي من بينها منع الزيارات ومنع عمليّات نقل السجناء على الصعيدين الكندي و الدولي.
في أونتاريو أعلن رئيس الحكومة دوغ فورد عن خطّة تهدف لحماية المستهلك ومواجهة ارتفاع أسعار المواد الأساسيّة في المقاطعة.
وأصدر مرسوم طوارئ يدخل حيّز التطبيق بصورة فوريّة يمنع بموجبه تجّار التجزئة والأفراد من بيع المواد الأساسيّة بأسعار غير عادلة.
ويواجه الأفراد الذين تدينهم المحكمة غرامة قدرها 750 دولارا، وتصل في حدّها الأقصى إلى 100 ألف دولار وعقوبة السجن لمدّة سنة، ويواجه أصحاب الشركات غرامة أقصاها 500 ألف دولار وعقوبة السجن لمدّة سنة.
ويهدف الإجراء كما قال رئيس الحكومة لحماية أبناء المقاطعة والعائلات وعمّال الخطّ الأوّل والمجموعات الضعيفة ووضع حدّ لممارسات المحتالين الذين يستغلّون الظرف في “هذه المرحلة الأسوأ من تاريخنا” كما قال فورد.
ودوما في أونتاريو، كرّرت السلطات الصحيّة دعوتها لأبناء المقاطعة بملازمة المنزل وعدم الخروج إلّا لأسباب ضروريّة كالحصول على الخدمات الصحيّة وشراء الدواء من الصيدليّة، وشراء الأغذية ومساعدة الأشخاص الضعفاء على القيام بكلّ ذلك.

وأكّد فرانسوا لوغو رئيس حكومة كيبيك في مؤتمره الصحفي اليوم الإثنين أنّ المعركة مع الفيروس ستكون طويلة وتستمرّ لأسابيع، ودعا الجميع إلى الحفاظ على المعنويّات .
وشكر لوغو كلّ العاملين في المراكز الصحيّة و العاملين الاجتماعيّين في مراكز الشباب ومراكز الصحّة العقليّة.
وبلغ عدد الإصابات في كيبيك كما قال لوغو حتّى كتابة هذه السطور 3430 حالة مؤكّدة، بارتفاع 590 حالة عن أمس الأحد، بالإضافة إلى 25 حالة وفاة في المقاطعة.
وطمأن بشأن شبكة النظام الصحّي الكيبيكي مشيرا إلى وجود هامش مناورة كبير للمرحلة المقبلة.
وتعمل حكومته على تلبية طلبات المستشفيات من اللوازم والمعدّات الطبيّة ودعا العاملين في القطاع الصحّي إلى استخدامها فقط عند الضرورة وترك الاستخدام لمن هم بحاجة لها.
وكرّر التأكيد على أولويّات الحكومة الثلاث: عدم الخروج من المنزل إلّا في الحالات الاضطراريّة والبقاء على مسافة مترين من الآخرين وغسل اليدين بعناية لمدّة 20 ثانية على الأقلّ.

ودوما في كيبيك، مشرت وزارة الهجرة الكيبيكيّة على موقعها الإلكتروني تعليمات تتعلّق بالتباعد الاجتماعي وأهميّة الالتزام بإرشادات الحكومة و السلطات الصحيّة في المقاطعة.
ونشرت الوزارة تعليماتها باثنتي عشرة لغة من بينها اللغة العربيّة.
واليوم، أعلن وزير الدفاع الكندي هارجيت سجّان عن تعبئة 24 ألف جندي لمساعدة المقاطعات والسكّان الأصليّين في التصدّي لوباء فيروس كورونا المستجدّ.
وأوضح سجّان أنّه سيكون بإمكان فرق التدخّل السريع القيام بمجموعة من المهمّات، من بينها توصيل الإمدادات الطبيّة ودعم المجتمعات النائية، التي قد تكون أكثر عرضة من سواها لتفشّي الفيروس.
وهناك 10 وحدات من القوّات النظاميّة في القواعد العسكريّة الكنديّة عبر أنحاء كندا لديها فرق ومعدّات جاهزة للتدخّل كما قال الوزير سجّان، مضيفا بأنّ ها لم تتلقّ حتّى الآن أيّ طلب مساعدة رسمي.
