CANADAكندا عربي بعد ارتفاع مضطرد، تراجعت أعداد الإصابات بالجائحة في أونتاريو by admin 24 يوليو، 2020 written by admin 24 يوليو، 2020 111 راديو كندا الدولي / إعداد كوليت زينة ضرغام | barid@rcinet.ca في حين تستعد مقاطعة أونتاريو في الوسط الكندي للدخول في المرحلة الثالثة من رفع الحجر اليوم الجمعة، سُجل الخميس تراجع في أعداد الإصابات الجديدة بكوفيد- 19. وقد أحصت السلطات الصحية في المقاطعة 103 حالات إصابة جديدة الخميس في حين لم تسجل أية حالة وفاة في أنحاء المقاطعة الكندية. وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن إجمالي عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا منذ بداية الجائحة يبلغ اليوم في أونتاريو: 210 38. ويبلغ عدد الوفيات 2755 بحسب السلطات الصحية الحكومية إلا أن القسم الإنكليزي لهيئة الإذاعة الكندية يرفع عدد الوفيات بحسب بيانات لديه إلى 2789. وكانت أعداد الإصابات قد شهدت ارتفاعا مضطردا خلال الأيام الخمسة الأخيرة وهي تستمر في التمركز في مدن أونتاريو الكبرى. وقد أحصيت اليوم في المدينة الملكة تورنتو (24 حالة جديدة) وفي مدينة وندزور (23)وفي Peel تتحدث السلطات الصحية عن 15 حالة جديدة وفي العاصمة الكندية أوتاوا (14). علما أن مدن تورنتو ووندزور وبيل مستثناة من المرحلة الثالثة لرفع الحجر التي ستشهدها معظم أرجاء مقاطعة أونتاريو اعتبارا من الغد. وقد ارتأت سلطات المقاطعة أن تبقى هذه المدن في المرحلة الثانية من رفع الحجر إلى أجل غير مسمى نظرا إلى استمرار ارتفاع عدد حالات الإصابة بالوباء فيها. وأشارت وزيرة الصحة في حكومة المقاطعة كريستين إيليوت إلى أن 21 مكتبا محليا لهيئة الصحة العامة في أونتاريو من أصل 34 لم يُبّلغ فيها عن أية إصابات جديدة. هذا وشهدت أونتاريو أيضا تراجعا في عدد الحالات الناشطة بالمقارنة مع يوم أمس. الجدير ذكره أن الإصابات كانت قد شهدت في الأيام الأخيرة حدة في صفوف الشباب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 20 و29 عاما (6109 إصابة منذ بدء الجائحة) والفارق 20 إصابة فقط بينهم وبين الأونتاريين من فئة الأعمار 50-59 ( 6129 إصابة). نحو 89% من سكان أونتاريو الذين أصيبوا بفيروس كورونا تماثلوا اليوم للشفاء.
