ثقافة و فنونعربي إبيقور في “رسالة إلى ميناسي”: السعادة واللذة كل لا ينفصل by admin 30 أغسطس، 2020 written by admin 30 أغسطس، 2020 858 “فيلسوف الحديقة” يلقي علينا دروسه في العيش عبر ألوف السنين اندبندنت عربية / إبراهيم العريس باحث وكاتب إذا كان أفلاطون (428 – 348 ق.م.) قد أسس مدرسته “الأكاديمية” ودرس فلسفته فيها، وأرسطو (384 – 322 ق.م.) أسس مدرسته “اللوكيوم” ودرس بدوره فيها فلسفته، فإن خليفتهما إبيقور (342 – 371 ق.م.) لم يتردد هو الآخر في تأسيس مدرسة إنما في حديقة ملحقة ببيته الفسيح في أثينا الذي أُطلق عليه اسم الحديقة، ما جعل كثراً يطلقون على مدرسته الفلسفية اسم “فلسفة الحديقة”. وحتى لو بدا الأمر مستغرباً، فإن هذا الاسم جاء متلائماً تماماً مع المضمون المضمر لتلك الفلسفة، التي ستعرف إلى الأبد بكونها فلسفة اللذة، وبالتالي “فلسفة السعادة” على اعتبار أن صاحب الشأن نفسه، أصر دائما على أن غاية الحياة القصوى إنما هي السعادة، وما تحقيق رغبات اللذة سوى الطريق الأصح لبلوغ السعادة الحقة. تمثال نصفي لإبيقور (موقع l’inactuel) جوهر الرسالة الناجية قال إبيقور هذا في العدد الأكبر من كتاباته التي لم يصلنا كثير منها، مع أن ديوجين الـ”لاإرثي” في كتابه العمدة حول حياة الفلاسفة الإغريق، يؤكد أنها بلغت ما يزيد عن ثلاث مائة نص. والحقيقة أن ما بلغنا من تلك النصوص العديدة التي يبدو أنها تشكل نتاج حياة بأسرها، لم يزد عن أربعة نصوص لعل أشهرها، وأقصرها على أية حال، “رسالة في السعادة” التي تُعرف عادة بـ”رسالة إلى ميناسي” على اسم تلميذ لإبيقور وُجهت الرسالة إليه، لكننا في الحقيقة لا نعرف عنه سوى أنه المرسَل إليه، وكونه بالتالي واحداً من تلاميذ الفيلسوف المفضلين، وإلا لما كان خصه بذلك النص العميق الصائب، الذي عاش رغم صروف الزمن، مستقلاً في ذاته على عكس مئات النصوص الإبيقورية الأخرى، التي لم نعرفها إلا من طريق يوجين الـ”لاإرثي”، أو من طريق استكمال تلامذة إبيقوريين لها، هم الذين تتلمذوا في “الحديقة”، وعرف معظمهم ذلك الأستاذ الكبير عن كثب. مهما يكن في الأمر، يمكننا أن نفترض بالاستناد إلى تلك الرسالة كما بالاستناد إلى ما وصلنا بالتواتر، أن خلاصة فكر إبيقور ومبادئ ذلك الفكر موجودة في الرسالة التي تنطق بما يمكن اعتباره أسمى آيات الحكمة. بل حتى في تلك المبادئ الأربعة التي يطلق عليها في الإغريقية عنوان “الرباعية الشافية”، وهي تلخيص التلخيص لفكر إبيقور؛ وهاكم ترجمتها إذ أتت على شكل نصيحة حكيمة موجهة إلى ميناسي ومن خلاله إلى كل الناس، “أولاً، لا تشغلوا بالكم بآلهة الأولمب؛ وثانياً، لا تخشوا الموت؛ وثالثاً، افهموا دائماً أن الخير سهل المنال دائماً؛ ورابعاً، إن الألم محدود دائماً في كثافته وديمومته”. ويرى إبيقور أنه إذا سار الإنسان على هدي هذه المبادئ، لن يكون من العسير عليه بلوغ السعادة من طريق لذة تحقيق رغباته، ولكن من هو “الإنسان” الذي يعنيه إبيقور هنا؟ كل إنسان. فلئن كان أفلاطون وأرسطو السابقين عليه قد اكتفيا باجتذاب المريدين من صفوة الذكور الأثينيين الأقحاح، فإن إبيقور، وهذا أمر مدهش تماماً، فتح حديقته لكل من شاء أن ينتمي إليها بما في ذلك أبناء وبنات الفئات التي كانت ممنوعة من ارتياد الأكاديمية واللوكيوم، بل أي مجتمع أثيني آخر، النساء، والعبيد، والأغراب. وبهذا يكون إبيقور قد تماشى مع تلك الأريحية، التي طبعت فكره ومبادئه دون مواربة، ما يجعله واحداً من أوائل الفلاسفة “الديمقراطيين” حقاً في التاريخ. غلاف ترجمة فرنسية للرسالة (موقع الكتاب) الفردية في بعدها الإنساني غير أن من يقرأ نصوص إبيقور مباشرة أو بالتواتر، لن يشعر بأية دهشة إزاء ذلك الفكر الذي إذ ينطلق من نزعة “فردية” لا مراء فيها، يجد في تلك النزعة ما يبرر الانصراف عن المبادئ الجمعية القامعة، التي بجمعيتها تلك توصد الأبواب أمام من لا ترتئي الجماعة إمكانية أن يكون منتمياً إليها. وبالتالي يصبح كل فرد بالنسبة إلى إبيقور إنساناً يحق له مهما كان انتماؤه أو أصوله، أن يمارس إنسانيته على هواه شرط ألا يحدث أي ضرر بالآخرين. ففلسفة إبيقور هنا فلسفة أخلاقية أولاً وأخيراً، لكنها لئن كانت تنادي بالوصول إلى السعادة من طريق لذة تحقيق الرغبات، فإنها لا تفتح الأبواب واسعة جداً أمام تلك الرغبات. بل على العكس من ذلك، إن الوصول إلى السعادة يشترط حصر الرغبات بما هو ضروري منها. وهذا ما يقوله لنا إبيقور في رسالته إلى ميناسي حيث يفيدنا بأن هناك نمطين من الرغبات واحد منهما فقط يوصلنا تحقيقه إلى اللذة وبالتالي إلى السعادة، فانطلاقاً من مبدأ ثابت لدى الفيلسوف. – ولنتذكر هنا أن اسمه باليونانية، وهو إبيقوروس يعني “ذلك الذي يعطي الآخرين” – فحواه أن العطاء أكثر عذوبة من الأخذ، بمعنى أن الحكيم الذي يضبط أموره على قياس ما يلزم حقاً للعيش، يجد لذته في أن يعطي للآخرين ما هو فائض عن حاجته، أو ما يشكل إبقاؤه لديه عبئاً على عيشه. هذا الحكيم لن يسعد بالأخذ من الآخرين ما ليس في حاجة إليه بقدر ما يسعده ذلك الكنز الذي يجده في الإكتفاء الذاتي. من الواضح أن كل مبادئ إبيقور إنما تنبع من هذه الصورة، التي لن تعني في نهاية الأمر سوى تحديد الرغبات بما هو لازم للحياة لا أكثر؛ فإن تمكنا من هذا، سنصل إلى تلك السعادة التي تمثل أسمى ما في الحياة. ولنعد هنا إلى النوعين من الرغبات اللذين أشرنا إليهما قبل سطور، نمط يمثل رغباتنا في الوصول إلى ما نحن فعلاً في حاجة إليه، وآخر يمثل رغباتنا في الحصول على ما هو أكثر من هذا. وفي هذا السياق يورد إبيقور مثلاً، حين تكون عطِشاً يكون أمامك حلان، إما أن تسد عطشك بكوب من الماء، وإما أن تسده بكأس من مشروب فاخر. كل من الحلين يمثل رغبة توصل إلى سعادة ما بالطبع. والمطلوب هنا بالطبع هو تحقيق سعادة إزالة العطش من طريق مشروب ما. فإذا كانت الطريقتان تسفران عن نتيجة واحدة. لماذا تراك ستتبع الرغبة الأصعب وأمامك الرغبة الأسهل والأقل كلفة؟ واضح أن إبيقور يبدو هنا كمن يقول لنا إن القناعة كنز لا يفنى. بيد أن الأمر أعمق من ذلك كثيراً، حين نطبق المبدأ على كل نواحي العيش، وعلى كل الرغبات التي تحركنا واللذات التي نتطلع إليها في وضعية من الواضح أن غايتها القصوى حياة تجوال بين المدن هنا لا بأس من الإشارة إلى أن التاريخ لم يحفظ لنا سوى جانب ثانوي من فكر إبيقور، يمكن القول إن هذا الأخير ليس هو المسؤول عنه، بل متابعوه السطحيون من الذين حولوه إلى نوع من مبدأ لذة يقوم على إرضاء الرغبات، بصرف النظر عن التحليل الذي يرد حول هذا الأمر في نصوص إبيقور نفسه. ومن هنا رُبطت الإبيقورية بنوع من “هيدونية” (نظرية تقوم على مبدأ اللذة، علماً بأن كلمة هيدون نفسها في اليونانية تعني لذة)، مجانية تنسب إلى إبيقور من دون أن تكون لها تلك الحيثيات التي تقف بالتعارض التام مع مجانية النظرية… ومن هنا الحاجة ماسة دائما لقراءة تلك الرسالة، التي تشرح مبادئ إبيقور في تضاد كلي مع ما هو رائج عنها. ولد إبيقور في مدينة ساموس على الشاطئ الشرقي لبحر إيجه، وهي نفس المدينة التي شهدت مولد فيثاغورس قبله بأكثر من قرنين. وقد توجه بعد ذلك ليدرس في أثينا، حيث لا شك أنه ارتاد حلقاتها الفلسفية قبل أن يؤسس “حديقته”، غير أن الحديقة والمدارس المماثلة لها سرعان ما نُفيت إلى ساموس، ما أعاد إبيقور إلى مسقط رأسه، ولكن إلى مدينة تقع إلى الشمال منها هي كولوفون التي درس فيها ردحاً قبل أن يتركها إلى
